Woman, toddler hospitalized after single-vehicle rollover crash
(Mankato, MN) – A woman and a toddler were injured in a crash east of Amboy Tuesday morning, but a second child involved avoided injury.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 1999 Ford Explorer driven by Brooke Mariah Koch, 26, of Mankato, was eastbound on Highway 30 at Blue Earth County Road 1 when it lost control and rolled in the ditch.
Koch and one of her passengers, Zayden Liam-Levi Joens, 3, of Mankato, suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash. Both were transported to Mayo Clinic Mankato with non-life threatening injuries.
A second child in the vehicle, 2-year-old Zeppelin Lincoln-Leelan Joens of Mankato escaped injury.
The state patrol reports that roads were snow and ice covered at the time of the crash, which happened around 8:27 a.m.
