Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton has released his collaboration with the Chester Bennington, recorded before the Linkin Park frontman died July 2017. The the heavy rack, titled “Cross Off,” is available now for digital download.

While Linkin Park’s last album, 2017’s One More Light, saw the band going in a poppier direction, “Cross Off” brings back the Bennington scream that you might’ve heard in the Hybrid Theory or Meteora days.

Morton first teased the collaboration with Bennington in April 2017; the vocalist died by suicide three months later.

“Cross Off” is the opening track off of Morton’s upcoming album Anesthetic, due out March 1. The record also includes collaborations with Papa Roach‘s Jacoby ShaddixAlter Bridge frontman and Slash collaborator Myles KennedyMark Lanegan, and Morton’s Lamb of God bandmate, Randy Blythe.
