Two injured in rear-end collision in Fairmont
(Mankato, MN) – Two people were injured in a rear-end collision in Martin County Tuesday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a Chevy Silverado was stopped in the southbound lane of Highway 15 (North State Street) in Fairmont when it was struck from behind by a southbound Dodge Ram.
Two people in the Silverado were transported to Mayo Clinic Fairmont with non-life threatening injuries: driver Robert Eugene Kesselring, 83, of Winnebago, and a 52-year-old passenger from Granada. The passenger wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the state patrol.
The driver of the Dodge Ram, 84-year-old Leroy Martin Rahn of Good Thunder, wasn’t injured.
