Three injured in crash on Highway 22 at Kasota
(Mankato, MN) – Three people were hospitalized after they sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Le Sueur County.
A Ford Focus and a Ford Fiesta were both traveling north on Highway 22 when they collided on the highway just after 6 p.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Megan Jo O’Malley-Schmidt, 20, of Le Center, was driving the Focus at the time of the crash. O’Malley-Schmidt had one passenger in her vehicle, Morgan Anne Weldon, 20, of Le Center. The driver of the Fiesta was 38-year-old Richard Gibson Richards of New Prague.
All three involved in the crash were transported to River’s Edge Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
