(Rochester, MN)  – A pedestrian was killed in a crash with a vehicle on Highway 16 in a Christmas Eve crash in Houston County.

Few details about the crash have been released by the Minnesota State Patrol, but a crash report says a pedestrian was fatally injured.  The crash happened at 10:33 a.m. near the intersection of  Highways 16 and 44 in Hokah.

The pedestrian is reportedly a woman who was out walking her dogs.

The state patrol is actively investigating the crash.  Names will be released Thursday.
