(New Ulm, MN) – New Ulm Police are investigating the death of a 28-year-old man.

Christopher Garland was declared dead when officers and medical personnel arrived at a home on 3rd Street South at 8:55 a.m. Monday.  A release from Detective Jeff Hohensee  says officers were responding to a medical call in which CPR was being performed.

Garland’s body was examined by the Brown County Coroner, who has requested an autopsy from the Ramsey County Medical Examiner to determine a cause of death.

New Ulm Police are processing the scene and will investigate Garland’s death.
