Mankato police release surveillance video of suspect from armed robbery attempt

(Mankato, MN) – Mankato police have released surveillance video of the suspect from an armed robbery attempt.
Police say that around 11 p.m. Friday, a man with a gun demanded cash and car keys from a victim in an apartment complex parking lot at 160 Homestead Road. The suspect ran away and nothing was taken. The victim wasn’t injured.
The suspect is described as about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, a black man wearing a gray sweatshirt.
