Mankato man injured in motorcycle vs. pickup crash
(Mankato, MN) – A Mankato man was injured in a crash at Waterville on Highway 60 Monday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 55-year-old Thomas Gerard Goebel was riding westbound on Highway 60 when his Harley Davidson collided with a Silverado pickup at the Highway 13 intersection.
The Silverado was stopped at Highway 13 in the southbound lanes and traveling onto Highway 60 east when the two vehicles collided, according to the crash report.
The pickup was driven by 27-year-old Colby Evertt Ordal of Faribault. Ordal and his passenger, 23-year-old Blake Robert Oneil, weren’t injured in the crash.
Goebel was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Rochester with non-life threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet, according to the state patrol.
