Lake Crystal man dies in Le Sueur County motorcycle crash

(Le Center, MN) – A Lake Crystal man has died after a single-vehicle crash Friday afternoon.

The Le Sueur County Sheriff’s office says Ben Tresise, 63, was dead at the scene of the crash, which happened around 1:40 p.m. on Shanaska Creek Road and North Shore Drive, southeast of Kasota.

“Preliminary investigation indicated that the driver of the motorcycle laid the bike down while traveling southbound on Shanaska Creek Road,” said the release from the sheriff’s office. Tresise was the lone occupant of the bike.

Tresise was not wearing a helmet, according to Chief Deputy Nick Greening.

The crash is currently under investigation.
