Home near Sigel Ballpark suffers damage in early morning fire
(New Ulm, MN) – An early morning fire caused damage to a residence just west of Sigel Ballpark.
A release from the New Ulm Fire Department said the fire at 18670 200th Avenue was reported at 2:48 a.m.
Flames were coming from the roof with fire crews arrived on the scene, but the occupant was out of the house, according to the press release. The fire was contained to the attic space and under control within 30 minutes.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and property loss is unknown. No injuries were reported.
The Hanska Fire Department assisted at the scene.
