(St. Paul, MN) – Governor Tim Walz and his daughter took to the streets to record a public service announcement about the state’s new hands-free law.

In the video, the governor and his daughter, Hope, pull over the side of the road and partake in some typical contradictory father-daughter banter.

“We want to make sure our teen drivers are not texting and -” Walz begins.

“No, no, no, I think its actually bald men,” Hope interjects.

The two exchange barbs back-and-forth, with Hope correcting her father’s technology lingo, and Governor Walz offering a “free child.”

Minnesota’s hands-free driving law is effective August 1st.
