(St. Peter, MN) – Few details are available as the St. Peter community comes to terms with a devastating fire at a historic bowling alley.
Minnesota Representative Jeff Brand, a former St. Peter City Council member, thanked the St. Peter and Kasota Fire departments on social media for keeping the area safe, saying the KingPins bowling alley was “destroyed.”
Details are few, as media awaits an official press release from St. Peter fire officials.
Social media users captured video and photos of the fire. It’s not known at this time whether anyone was in the building at the time the fire started, or if there are any injuries.
According to the bowling alley’s website, Kingpins was constructed in 1962, and has been St. Peter’s bowling destination for 50 years.
This is a developing story
