Deadly car vs. semi crash in Redwood County

(Mankato, MN) – A car vs. semi crash in Redwood County Thursday afternoon was fatal.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened west of Morgan at around 2 p.m. when a Mercury Sable collided with a semi at the intersection of County Road 13 and Highway 68.

The Sable, driven by an 18-year-old Holdingford man had been northbound on County Road 13. The semi was traveling westbound on Highway 68. A 38-year-old Morgan man was driving.

There were no further details available. Names are expected to be released Friday.
