Charges: St. Peter woman’s heroin causes two overdoses, including her own

(St. Peter, MN) – A St. Peter woman is facing allegations that she supplied heroin that caused two overdoses, including her own.

Lisa Lynn Robel, 52, was charged last week in Nicollet County Court with felony counts of great bodily harm caused by distribution and felony third-degree narcotic sales.

According to the criminal complaint, Robel overdosed on heroin in April 2019, requiring the use of NARCAN to revive her. Responding officers found a small baggie of white pills, a baggie with a brown powdery substance, burnt aluminum foil, and a spoon in Robel’s purse. She was transported to a hospital, leaving two people in the apartment.

According to court documents, emergency services were called about an hour later to a St. Peter gas station where a man was lying on the ground unresponsive. Police administered two doses of NARCAN to revive the man, who had earlier been at the scene of Robel’s overdose, according to the complaint.

After his revival, the man told police Robel was dealing heroin and she had “threw me a little line,” according to the complaint. The victim said he’d snorted heroin in brown powder form, which Robel had apparently offered him in exchange for letting her stay at his apartment. The two had used the heroin simultaneously, according to the complaint.

Robel was arrested later that same day with a vial of a greenish substance on her person. The substance later tested positive for Fentanyl.
