Car crashes through downtown Papa Murphy’s

(Mankato, MN) – A vehicle has apparently crashed through a downtown Mankato business.

Southern Minnesota News has reached out to Mankato Public Safety for more details on the incident, which a witness said happened just after 1 p.m.

A Mankato Public Works truck and a city public safety vehicle were in the parking lot, but no one at the scene was able to comment when SMN arrived around 1:45 p.m.

The vehicle appears to be brand new with dealer plates from Brookdale Luther Volkswagen.

The restaurant is located in the same property as Jersey Mike’s and the soon-to-open Wonder’s Ice Cream shop.
