Body Found Near Wells, Minnesota
WELLS MN – The Faribault County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide in rural Wells, with assistance from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA).
According to a press release, the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call around 11:46 p.m. on November 1, reporting a body found on a property in rural Wells. Deputies arrived and confirmed the death as a homicide based on the initial investigation.
Chief Deputy Scott Adams stated that further details are being withheld pending positive identification of the body and notification of the family.
“We’ll share more information as the week progresses and the investigation develops,” Adams said.
The Wells Police Department and the South Central Drug Task Force are also aiding in the investigation alongside the BCA.
